Education: Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Honours), United Kingdom

 

Daphne joined Brookfields in June 2024. She obtained an honours law degree from a Russell Group university in the United Kingdom and later successfully completed all Parts of the New Zealand Law Practice Exams (NZLPE) to practice in New Zealand. She now has a special focus on environment law and resource management.

As part of the team, Daphne assists with a variety of natural resources and urban development issues, including plan changes, resource consents and other aspects of the Resource Management Act. She also assists with local government and Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act matters.  

Prior to joining Brookfields, Daphne worked for a range of firms in New Zealand, including a reputable large national firm. She has experience in civil litigation and commercial disputes, including researching legislation, regulations and case law, drafting court documents and liaising with government and judicial bodies.  Daphne has experience appearing in the District and High Court. Daphne is dedicated to delivering tailored solutions and exceptional client care.
