Experience
Michelle is a dedicated lawyer who specialises in resource management, local government and public law. After commencing practice as a property lawyer, she changed roles to specialise in resource management, local government and public law. Her strong background in property law enables her to navigate the intersection of resource management and property law easily. She spent time working as an in-house lawyer for the Department of Conservation, and during that time, completed a secondment for the Ministry for the Environment. This provided Michelle with valuable experience and enhanced her knowledge of environmental, planning, and property law in New Zealand.
Michelle regularly provides advice on a wide range of resource management, local government and public law matters. She has also appeared in the Environment Court and at Council level hearings on resource management matters.
